As part of its Digitising European Industry strategy, the European Commission is supporting a number of innovation initiatives supporting companies in the area of digital value creation. One such initiative is Smart Anything Everywhere, in which networks of digital competence centres - usually research technology organizations or universities - give companies the opportunity to experiment with new digital technologies.
This public workshop, organized by HiPEAC in collaboration with the European Commission, will bring together high-level speakers from the European Commission and industry, competence centres and key players in European digital technologies to share ideas on topics related to the re-industrialization of Europe and the role of SMEs.
It will explore the progress achieved so far by the Smart Anything Everywhere initiative and the impact participation has had on SMEs. The future of the initiative will also be discussed and the forthcoming call ICT-4-2017 Smart Anything Everywhere Initiative.
